Looking at the struggles and expenses involved in running a music ministry by making sure you have a good appearance and maintaining it followed by recording song, promoting it in spreading the gospel through music and some other expenses,hard work,endurance and strong commitment.

One can say it takes a strong,determined mind and grace to leaves one academic profession that requires numerous years of learning in institution and take up the cross in being a Gospel Minister.

In all facts there are countless of ministers who have studied one or two important and well lucrative course(s) in higher institution but still pursue their passion and chose gospel ministry in which this particular work of the Lord has given them fame also taken them parts of the World.

1. Obiora Obiwon

Obiora Nwokolobia-Agu better known by his artistic name Obiora Obiwon (born 9 June 1977) Nigerian singer, musician, songwriter, recording artiste, music minister and evangelist.

He graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) in 2001 where he studied Agricultural Extension.

After migrating to Lagos in 2002 for National Youth Service Corps, gee initially became an employee of a bank in Lagos.

The pressures of a budding music career soon led him to resign a banking job shortly afterwards.

A passion for music started developing as early as age 5, while singing along to HipHop and R'n'B records from his elder brother's Audio Cassettes. His father, Sir Humphrey Nwokolobia-Agu was a folk and classical music composer and arranger from Eastern Nigeria. At age 15 he went on to songwriting, performing on the local streets and hang outs.

Some of his songs include  "Testify", "Pour Your Love", "Hail My King", F.A.T.H.E.R e.t.c

2. Nosa

Nosa Omoregie, professionally known as Nosa, is a Nigerian recording artist, singer, songwriter and performer,hails from Benin City, Edo State and studied Engineering at the University of Benin (UNIBEN).

Nosa's source of joy as a growing child was in music and attending Church, where he began exploring his developing talents. He started out in the children's choir in church and is majorly influenced by gospel singers like Fred Hammond and Kim Burrell and the noted R n B group Boyz II men.

Nosa's aim with his music is to create a bridge between music genres while making sure the gospel aspect of it is on a fore-front platform just as the other genres.

Nosa blessed us with songs like "Always Pray for You", "Why You Love Me", "Always on My Mind", "I am Blessed", "God Is Good" e.t.c

3. Samsong

Samson Uche Mogekwu is a Nigerian gospel artist, based in Abuja, Nigeria born in in Delta State, Nigeria.

He attended college, and majored in Accounting and graduated from the great Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo state. In 1991, he formed a quartet known as Praise Creation. They were signed to Ivory Music Label, and released their debut album in 1996 titled "Best of Life".

The group however broke up, and Samsong became a solo artist, releasing his debut CD in 2002, titled "Count Your Blessings".

He has had a successful recording career with radio hits like Bianule, and a handful of accolades such as The Psalmist Award in 2000, and recently being nominated as "best Gospel Artist" by Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) in New York in 2008.

Some of his songs are Turn Me Around,Chukwu Okike, Capable God, Keleya, I Win e.t.c

4. Dunsin Oyekan

Dunsin Oyekan (born November 5, 1985) is a Nigerian contemporary Christian, singer-songwriter, producer, instrumentalist and recording artist popularly referred to as The Eagle.

He attended Airforce Nursery and Primary school Ilorin, Federal Government College Ilorin and Baptist Model High School Ilorin. He thereafter proceeded to study Industrial Chemistry at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.

Oyekan attributes his love for music and songwriting to his father who also loved music and encouraged him to learn the guitar,He started singing and playing the guitar at age 10.

Dunsin Oyekan is a music producer and plays several musical instrument including guitar, keyboard and drums.

He was the music director of the crystal award winning choir, The Avalanche of COZA for many years,he has been named by Ynaija as one of 100 Most Influential People in Christian Ministry in Nigeria.

He has released many songs e.g "If All I say is Jesus", "Most High", "No words", "You are Good", "Imole De", "Miraculous God", "Song of Angels (Kei Yadosh)" e.t.c

5. JoePraize

Joseph Omo Ebhodaghe, (born June 20, 1979), popularly known as Joe Praize, is a Nigerian gospel singer, praise and worship leader, songwriter and music director.

He was born in Edo State Nigeria, into a family of nine a graduate of Social Work and Administration from the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.

He has since become a praise and worship leader at the Love World a.k.a. Christ Embassy.

He has ministered in several countries including South Africa, Canada, United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Cyprus, Nigeria, Ghana and others, and he has won several awards. Some of the awards include the Song of the Year Award 2010, at the Love World Award with the song, "Mighty God", which is track number five on his first album, My Praise.

Some of his songs are Mighty God,Alpha Omega,More Than the World,Holy
Ghost,Unchangeable,Everything Is Blessed e.t.c
